Second Grade
Our Second Grade curriculum ties into the Social Studies theme of “Families, Neighborhoods, and Communities.” By the end of the lessons, they should be able to explain how money can be spent or saved on goods and services, the role of money in facilitating exchange, and how choices can have both positive and negative impacts on their lives. By teaching this unit, all Financial Literacy and Economics standards are met, as well as many of the inquiry standards.
